Hardware Gray ribbon guard broken

Thanks for all the replies. Im not sure whether or not I have the ability to soldier something so small, but it's worth a shot. I found the connectors on ebay and I'm going to order a few soon. I just hope that removing the existing connector won't damage the motherboard.
 
You need to de-solder it first otherwise you're rip the contacts off the motherboard if you try to remove it by force. I don't recommend you attempt to solder it. Especially if you don't have any soldering experience. I'd say if the glue doesn't work out for you, send it to someone who can solder it. Perhaps order the replacement part for it, but have someone else do it for you. ;)

So, the glue work at all, which didn't really surprise me. At this point, I don't really think it's worth it to continue spending money on this 3ds. I don't think I should spend the 20-30 dollars hoping to get it fixed. I think I should just turn and buy another 3ds. Thanks for all the help guys.
