For gpu's.

Get 1050 ti 4gb or get a 1060 6gb model, anything under 4gb will give you issue's in the long run.

1050 ti 4gb will play anything at high at 30 fps on 1080p, 1060 6gb will play anything at high at 60 fps

for 1440p, 1070+ gpu or higher fps.

It looks like it's only the 960 that's $150. It'll be noticeably better than what you have, but the $30 extra dollars for that used 1050 Ti is a much better deal.

Edit: Yeah the GTX 1050 Ti was amuch better choice. Remember that eBay has buyer protection if it doesn't work.
