GPU Installation

Ok so currently when I right click my desktop it says AMD Radeon settings, when I go unplug my pc and install the gpu, will it automatically change to nvidia? Can someone give me like a

When the new video card arrives,

1. Uninstall the ATI drivers/software
2. Install the new Nvidia GPU
3. Install the Nvidia drivers/software.

Done.

Just stick the new card in, and install GeForce experience. It'll do all the work for you.

ATi is AMD

Open search bar
Type: "Device Manager"
Find the "Display adapters" tree
Open it
Right click the video card, "uninstall"

I have never swapped cards. Nvidia might do it for you. But if you end up with issues, double check.

No matter what, after the install, the other video card shouldn't be displaying in your devices. If it is, uninstall it.

Both I and IRL friends have installed new gpus without deleting the drivers from the old card and it's worked fine.

I have been informed that you might run into future problems with that I will use a UDD to unistall the drivers just to be on the safe side, thanks for the help everyone!
