I know i'm late to the game, but I'd appreciate help.

I have a PSP 2000 (says 2001 if that matters) running firmware 6.60 with cfw 6.60 PRO-C Fix3. (Found on nicoblog). I've tried different versions of GPSP and get the same results every time. I get to the game loading screen and when I load the game the Gameboy Advance opening screen appears, makes it's wonderful little noise, then just sits there and nothing happens.

I can press menu and get back to the psp menu and I can get back to the gpsp menu so it's not frozen. Any thoughts? Thanks for your help!

I am assuming here that you have tried a variety of games, not all games will work with it, although compatibility is quite excellent. At a guess since everything is up and running I would say that perhaps gPSP doesn't like the gba bios that you have provided, so have a google and try a few out.

Thanks for the thoughts.
I finally got it working, it simply didn't like the files. They worked fine using the supercard for the GBA, but I had to get different files to work on the PSP. It's all good now.
