Hey everyone. I got new computer. I gave my laptop to my mother so she don't need to buy Ipad 2. So here is my system.

So...what I can do with this? Like...play emulator. Play online website. I have SNES, NES, Genesis, and GBA emulator. What other emulator will work this computer?

Err, that's not really a good system. You certainly won't be able to run Dolphin or PCSX2 (or any other emulators for recent systems). You might be able to emulate the Game Gear with Fusion.

Every month is $115. This is much better than my laptop rent. it 139. I have hard time to pay the bills.

Just letting you know, any rental place is going to kill your wallet for something not worth it at all. You would be better off saving up and building your own PC, or buying a budget rig.

With all due respect you cannot rent pay 115$ a month for something that is worth 300$.... thats insane
Just like my house was worth 300000$ and my rent was 115000$ a month

It will run gamecube and ps2 emulation but barely playable probably.

If you have a hard time paying bills you should NOT be renting a computer. You are getting ripped off tremendously. Save up and build your own. The only reason rental companies like Aaron's stay in business is because people like you actually give them money. Sorry if it seems harsh but it's true.

It's a company, not a person. Still, definitely a rip off.
considering:
a purchase price of 400$ (tax inc.)
a depreciation of 100% ( rent to own like scheme)
4 month lease term
to get 115$ a month I need a 120% annual interest rate. (which would be illegal where I live)

just for fun, for a 12 month lease, the annual interest rate would be 470%.

bradzx you should really get rid of this machine as you are getting ripped off. $115 a month is an atrociously expensive price and it means that in three or four months you have essentially paid the price of the PC. You would be much better off buying a PC outright (one with better specs) and paying for it on a monthly basis instead.

I'd seriously lol if this was a 1 year contract or longer.

Don't forget, there is always a "cooldown" period for any contract. If he's just entered this contract (as in, within the last... 14 days was it?) he's well within his rights to just get it cancelled (by paying a small fee).

But seriously, no need to call him an idiot for this. Not everybody can say no to a salesman with a good salespitch and an inviting smile (coming from a person who sells jewellery every day).
