on Linux, for dreamcast, last night, so I can convert elf into cdi images. I managed to test it with sm64. The instructions for getting it (mkdcdisc) working were not correct, so I let my own ingenuity figure it out. We've got it!
 
@godreborn , I know it's not on topic but I found a custom MVC2 disc in my collection which I used to play a lot. My question is do you know any program to directly rip a disc to CDI?
I do not. I'm not all that familiar with dreamcast stuff, since I never messed with mine.

are you looking for a windows or linux ripper? windows you can use imgburn with the cdi addon, not 100% on linux i can do a little googling
 
I don't really understand what to do with a 1st read.bin. I used the elf from before to build a cdi.
