Hacking Got a small update question here...

I've got a 4.2u Wii with HBC, BootMii and all that stuff installed. Lately it's been telling me that I have to update the Wii before I can play any of my Wii discs (Gecko skips the update check but it's kinda annoying to have to use it every time). I think it's a minor update to some of Nintendo's Wii channels.. Is it safe to go ahead and get this update or will it mess with what I've got installed?

if youre on 4.2 then its only your ioses that are out of date. go ahead and let it update or get dop-ios and get the newest ios that game uses

I'd use dop-Mii to update your IOSs.
Another way is to use startpatch or priiloader to skip updates.
