I hate it. There's absolutely nothing useful about it and only causes you to quickly use up your bandwidth (images already get loaded for things you don't even want to see, and so forth).

I hate it. Why would I want to see search results from something I haven't finished typing in yet?

Example: searching for "caterpillar" would begin first showing search results for "cat". Completely irrelevant search results!

Auto complete on the other hand is useful, because quite often you can find the search phrase you're looking for by pressing down a few times. But search results springing up for an incomplete search term? What's the point?
If you type fast enough it shouldn't be a problem as you won't hit those results.

It only works on Google.com, region extension don't work because it doesn't work on Google.ca either.
