Homebrew Good Pokemon VC editor?

I know there's a Bank app here for Pokemon VC, but with Bank out tomorrow and Transporter getting gen 1 support I'm looking for gen 1 editing.

Tried that, it's not opening. "Error opening bankgb".

I also get a legit error when I open PHBankgb, so that's probably the issue. I gotta peruse the BankGB topic for that

Yeah, you need a working PHBankGB in order to even use Pokeslow. Perhaps someone in that thread can give you a hand with that.

It certainly doesn't look nearly as polished as PKSM, but it should get the job done. How did you fix your problem by the way? The solution might help other people that could run into the same issue.

I'd installed BankGB through the Homebrew Browser, and apparently that version is out of date and doesn't include the data files needed on the sd card to open it.

Got the .cia straight from github and the data, so BankGB runs for me.

You can use your phone with your DS connected to it with a hotspot/tethering. Download the files on your phone, then use and FTP to transfer them to your 3DS' SD card. (Or literally put the MicroSD in your phone, and copy them over with a file manager)

I wanted to edit without the laptop for when I play on the go or at work. I had access to the laptop at time of install.

It certainly doesn't look nearly as polished as PKSM, but it should get the job done.

It has much more capability than PKSM, and I'd rather use an app like that any day with more towards function/capability and not so much towards user friendliness.

Meh, there's something to be said for a UI to take the tedium out of some things. It's fine when you have small edits and few Pokemon but if you want a larger job done the time cost builds up.

Still, it more than does the work you'd want it to.
