My sister is a big fan of shows like CSI, and games that are like the investigative/forensic portion of Trauma Team. Are there any good investigative games to get for her? I'm going to pick up Miles Edgeworth for her, but other suggestions are welcome. I'll be putting it on her flashcart, but she has other consoles and a PC (but not a high-powered one) as well if there are any really good games for anything else.

The Ace Attorney series of games are really good, they are based around the court room though and not so much forensics but defiantly worth a look!

welcome to the temp, Dregath!

OP here are my best picks :

- Ace Attorney series
- Hotel Dusk Room 215
- Last Window - The Secret of Cape West (hotel dusk sequel)
- Jake Hunter Detective Story - Memories of the Past

those are the best on Ds hands down

If I were you, I would look into adventure games. That's usually the genre of the type of games you're looking for.

From what I hear, "Flower, Sun, and Rain" is an adventure game that is kind of like what you're looking for, but within a third-person perspective. I tried playing it, but I was very easily bored by it and couldn't even get to any investigative parts. I'd have to go play it again to actually check. But you could try it.

ugh Flower, Sun & Rain is a real "experience" by suda51 definitely not a game easy to get into, even i gave up for now cause of poor graphics but more importantly confusing french translation of the riddles >

DS - Besides what's been mentioned....
Time Hollow
Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars
Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective
Trace Memory
Art of Murder
Again

Consoles
Heavy Rain(PS3)
Sherlock Holmes Frogware Games(Xbox 360 or PC)
Silent Hill: Shattered Memories(Wii or PS2)
Indigo Prophecy(original Xbox, PS2, or PC)

PC - with low powered in mind
The Last Express
The Gabriel Knight series
The Blackwell series
Syberia I and II
The Longest Journey
Dreamfall

Should be plenty to get you going.

Nice list HitBattousai, also LA Noire (Xbox 360, Ps3) is of the type your sister is craving for.
