I'm craving some japanese games (even though I can't read Japanese) So are there any good import friendly games out now? Or out a while ago that never came out in America?

If you're into shooters you should check out "Sengoku Cannon - Sengoku Ace Episode III", "Star Soldier", "Strikers 1945 Plus Portable", "Parodius Portable", "TwinBee Portable".
"Taiko no Tatsujin Portable" is also import friendly.

Add Darius Burst to that.

Phantasy Star Portable 2 - Easy to understand and one of my fav games on psp. Reccomended.

What is your favourite genre?

Fav genre would have to be rhythm, though there's not much I don't like. I guess I'm kinda looking for an RPG, but those are prolly hard to be import friendly. Perhaps I'll check out Phantasy Star and Monster Hunter.

Rhythm :
Taiko no Tatsujin Portable
Taiko no Tatsujin Pertable 2
DJ Max Portable series
Gitaroo Man
Pump It Up Portable series
Rock Band Unplugged
etc

Gundam :
Gundam Assault Survive
Gundam Battle Universe
SD Gundam G Generation Portable

If you don't understand japanese, it'll be difficult to play RPG (J), there're alot of RPG (US) why don't you try them. Monster Hunter Unite is the latest MH series and it's good. You can try Phantasy Star Portable 2, it's not US yet. Have fun

Princess Crown...there's also a complete translation floating around (not a patch, pictures and words)

XD Which is why I thought of the recommendation. Anyway, I have to second Taiko no Tatsujin. I'm not sure how well it was translated to the PSP but I remember playing it on the DS and had a blast. The second game had a story mode!
