Good IDE/Editor?

Okay, so I love to play around with C/Python/Ruby/whatever, and I usually use NetBeans 6.7...........

BUT I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE. THE PAIN OF USING A GIANT JAVA APPLICATION IS JUST TOO MUCH FOR ONE MAN TO BEAR.

Also, I don't really like Eclipse because it's easier for me to use an installed program

So, does anyone know of a good free editor? Preferably for C/C++, but Python, Perl and whatever would be nice too.
