well i might sell some of my stuff just to get a 3ds after i pay for my college crap... but that will probably be within a week or so

so what games you guys recommend to get? im leaning towards SSFIV, what is everyone else getting?

Well super street fighter for sure. Some people are recommending ghost recon but thats if turn based strategy games are your thing. steel diver looks boring but seems to be addicting. pilotwings is fun but short. and nintendogs is well done of thats your thing. so if i had to order it:

1. SS43D
2. Steel Diver
3. Pilot Wings
4. Ghost Recon
5. Nintendogs
6. Lego Star Wars
7. .....
8. Profit! (oh wait we have to buy all these games)
9. No profit!

ahh thanks

looks like its SS43D it is then

only asking cuz i get a free game when i buy a 3ds

Good if you like fighting games or want the most of your money
2. Steel Diver
Looks like no fun, almost as if nintendo is trying to make its game sell less
3. Pilot Wings
looks fun for about 10 min but then just gets old
4. Ghost Recon
who wants a turn based game for such an advnced system?
5. Nintendogs
Ooo... Puppy! Go play with kitty!
6. Lego Star Wars
Why buy a game that is no better than any other version with the exception of 3d?
7. Monkey Ball
They ruined it ever since the second gamecube version. This doesnt even have traditional monkey race

I also heard it was bad.

8. Ridge Racer
A standard racing game. Wait for mario kart
9. Asphalt 3d
Has cop chases. Those are ok. but glitches and more say no
10. Rayman 3d
Supposed to be a good remake of the dreamcast version. Seeing as its the only good adventure game, this would be a decent story based game
i added a few

Some of the dumbest comments I read about the games, especially the Steel Diver and Ghost Recon parts. Steel Diver "looks" like no fun to you, but I'm betting you haven't even played it. Ghost Recon, that's like saying why make Civ5 when they could of made some FPS or why make any turn based game for that matter.

I've boycotted the launch titles completely and just bought the new pokemon hahahaha. My workmate told me I was an idiot if I bought street fighter (the only decent launch title) and he lent me his ps3 copy. YAY

I have pokemon white that i got on launch. i beat it already

i have never played any of the games cause i dont have a demo near me but have watched tons of games plays and reviews

im a nintendo gamer so i dont have a ps3 or 360 etc
thats why ssfiv sounds good to me
ive played the demo for the ps3 at walmart and it was amazing so im taking the opertunity to buy it on the 3ds.
i personally find no reason to buy the other games.

i am waiting to play star fox and oot since ive only played them on an emulator and never have beat them.
the launch isnt perfect but many can live with the choices at hand.

i dont see why i cant add comity to this

and as far as civ,
civ 5 is not as good as number 4
and i prefer real time like age of empire or empire earth.
the tech aspect of civ is awesome but the rts part of aoe is awesome as well
a mix of the games is a perfect combo
i never have played starcraft but i make the asumption its just as good as aoe and empire earth
i play board games in real life
i dont need them for my console with the exception of mario party(its a familty party game that has fun mini games)

Me! I love Turn-Based Strategy, especially one that was produced by Julian Gallop (Laser Squad/X-Com). I'll definitely buy it.

And if you look at the offerings on the DS and PSP, you'll see that TBS games typically turn out better and earn more money than their RTS counterparts.
