Good free DVD Burner program?

I have CDBurnerXP and im not sure that can make a Video DVD.

I tried burning my videos to a Data DVD but it cant play on my portable DVD player and computer at school : \.

If I remember right, it said that I needed an xvid something codec and since I cant install stuff at school.... yea.

So yea, anyone know a good one?

cdburner can burn a video dvd, but you are right about it not making one.

try going to www.doom9.org to figure out what u need to do

they have great guides and links to the progs u need

To make a Video_TS folder and all that, I use WinAVI. It can use any external codecs you have to convert stuff, and it is very fast. Takes ~15 minutes to convert a 700mb AVI to a DVD (on my PC)

Turning near enough anything into a DVD I suggest FAVC although it will require avisynth and there is no portable version.

I burn every damn thing with ImgBurn ... used to use DVD Decrypter, but now it's ImgBurn all the way ... burns every kind of file ... MDF, ISO, IMG, BIN, and so on ...

IMO, Doom9.org for DVD Decrypter and just sort your Video and audio folders properly and ISO them.

For making DVD - use DVD FLICK. Its free and very good.
