Hacking Goldhen v1.0 - Remote package installer

Hello all,

I have FW 7.55 and used a jailbreak from Night king host. All working fine and remote package installer worked fine too!.

I then saw Goldhen released which fixed sleep mode. My remote package installer now hard crashes when i try to transfer a game.

The release notes for goldhen state it has Remote package installer ... is there a different one i need to be using?

any assistance is appreciated. thanks.

i use it fine, but got a question for ya do you exit package intaler after starting the xfer if so dont that when it crash
if you dont exit it to check the dl and wait until its done via your pc it work fine

Thanks for the reply.

Before using goldHen, i could minimise the app and allow to do it in the background so i could go to downnloads and see progress.

I have tried the way you said - but on the PC it just says "Sending" - I cancelled it after 10 mins as wasnt sure if it was actually working or not, i got the notification on Ps4 - are their any package senders out their with an actual progress bar on if this is now an issue of not being able to minimize the app on the PS4 when doing this?

you cant minimise the app wille sending right now since its crash but if nothing is sending ya can minimise it

but on pc side i use pkg sender who show me the sending list in cmd so when its stop sending i know its complete or my pkg is busted, so once done i minimise check if the pkg instaled if yes return on app and send a new one if not delete redl the pkg and send again lol

Ah ok, thanks for confirming. I'll probably use USB for now as i can see it installing on the progress bar, but good to hear its not just me

I'm on 7.51 right now.
I found that by using the new GoldHen v2.0b (haven't tried b2), I can finally run RPI in the background again to check the download/install progress without it crashing. I can finally check in the PS4 directly instead of going back to the PC.

edit:
Weirdly enough going back in the app after a while crashes it.
(but seems like I can just resume the download by relaunching it, staying in RPI until you make sure it resumed on PC.)
When it successfully resumes (the PC is uploading tons of stuff in Task Manager), it doesn't crash going in and out.
I guess it crashes (going in) if I stayed out too long...?
Tho in this case, you can just stay out and let the download finish outside (since it is still receiving that way anyway).
