Hacking Golden Sun Dark Dawn DSTWO issues

So, I load up my DSTWO, and attempt to load in clean mode and I get white screened.

I reformat and get a white screen.

I put 1.07 and get a white screen.

Could it be the dump? Or am I forgetting a step?

Try updating to 1.08

It may be the dump, I've heard some people get this problem while others don't.

How would downgrading solve the problem?
And since it's the DSTwo, I am pretty sure it's just a bad dump

Try a different dump. I am on 1.08 with a cheapo 4 GB and it works perfectly.

See that's what I was thinking. I didn't know if downgrading would do anything lol I just thought I'd try it. I've been sitting here beating the crap out of these sd adapters putting em in and out and in and out of the laptop (and that sounds so wrong....) but yeah...

I've tried 4 or 5 different sources, I even have direct scene files, and all the same problem :/ It's depressing.

Someone mind giving me a step by step on how to run it in clean mode?

On 1.07, works flawlessly on clean

Are you sure it's loading on clean ? I had an issue a while back where I would change it from Pathc to Clean, but it would Auto-revert back to Patch for some reason.
So Press X and change to Clean, Press A to confirm and then Press X to check again, if it reverts I think deleting the Golden Sun Sav and Dtc should clear it up, and if not, worth a go eh ?

Just tried that and double checked it was loading clean and it was. It's just not working -cry-

It's not a trimmed or patched version or any sort of modified version is it ?

I'm using the Bahumt release if it helps.

I have direct scene files which means I have the exact rom that was leaked.... and it just isn't loading I'm getting frustrated. Let me PM you real fast.

Don't worry. The same happened to me. I'm in EOS v1.08. I think it's a matter of dump, because the same one also didn't work on the AKAIO v1.8.1 with the Bypass Piracy Option on.

I'm looking for a different source or... I'll wait for the USA release.
