So i keep seeing a bunch of tools that i would like to download but i am not sure how to compile codes from git, is there a tut or does anyone mind pm me and walking me through it i have cygwin but no clue how to use it

You might want to change your thread title to get better help. You should be asking about compiling on Windows as the fact that the code is from github is rather meaningless when it comes to compiling.
is there a way to tell what language their using if not mentioned. i know that one of the tools is c++ since it has a vs save
