Hacking GH5 freezes

Hi,

I have CFG USB Loader in its latest revision. I run Guitar Hero 5 with all the right settings (002 fix and 223(37)). I can start the game and play a song. Problem I have is, the game totally randomly hangs and freezes. It will then accept no more button inputs and the wii has to be forced to shut down.
This happens when I enter a name or after a song or while loading or while selecting something.
I use a Max VII Guitar but I suspect it having nothing to do with the problem. When I start the game with just the wiimote (so not connected to the VII controller) the same happens.
Is this an issue related to CFG USB Loader?

yeah i thought so too at first. its a new wd passport essential 500gb 2,5. but then again i played rockband2 without any problems. i even left it alone for an hour or so and got no problems.

i am having the same problem and it just started the past month or so. Does yours start stuttering too before lockup?

No just locks up and accepts no more buttons. even the highway keeps moving if onscreen at that time.....music stops completely though.

switched to playing rockband now.
