Hey, dont know if you guys remember me, but I'm that unlucky bugger that posted a while back about my strangely bricked wii.
Well i sent my Wii to Nintendo and they replaced the DVD drive and are sending it back.
When my friend got his back, he had a D2C chip, and it was and early one, so no epoxy.
Hopefully mine will come back the same, but if it's not we'll trade wiis...

Anyway, when i ordered my wiikey v2 from OMC, i told them to configure it for a DMS wii.
Can i re-configure it to work on a D2C wii? do i just solder/desolder some stuff?

PS – On the wiikey, the GND, 2v2, A, B and C are soldered.
PPS – My serial sticker is white

Sounds like you got a wiikey 2 and clip.

If it's a D2C or D2E (very likely) and a white wiikey2, you'll need to solder G, D, E, F.

If you have a D2E with epoxy - you'd be better off getting a 'yellow' wiikey2 and doing a wired install to the underside points - or removing the epoxy if you're feeling brave.

lol yeh forgot to mention the clip...
So i just solder those points together and it should work fine?
and do i just use any wire?
(I'll get my dad to solder it, he knows all this crap)

Why are you bumping this? Until you get your Wii back nobody can help you with specifics. Look at the WiiKey web site and you can see the possible solutions based on how your WiiKey2 is wired to your clip. If you can't figure it out once your drive arrives then you probably shouldn't proceed.

Wire? what?

Did you get one of the fudged ones that are on a clip designed for another chip or something?
