From what I've read, Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim and TDK DVD-Rs are high quality DVDs, +Rs won't work.

Ive been using Verbatim DVD+R since day one (Of wiikey) and no problems. Although i have also tried DVD-R and they work fine too.

Stick to the more expensive discs, you will be fine.

Taiyo Yuden DVD-R. Best of the best... never had a coaster despite burn speed.

I'm getting opposite results. TDK DVD+R discs are working excellent, but I'm getting failures with -R

I spoke with Jack yesterday and had advised him to get Taiyo Yuden DVD-R's. I've gone through a spindle of 400 over the past couple years and never had 1 coaster.

A bit of enthousiastic downloading and you've used them all up in no-time
There are a lot of great gamecube games too, which you can also burn and play of course.
