Hacking Getting back in the game could use some help

Hey I have a wii and I have not messed with it in a really long time. Ever since I transferred everything to my wiiu nothing has seemed to work properly. I also am starting with a new memory card. Something called priiloader pops up but it does not do anything because I am missing the files. I still have homebrew channel but I have no idea where to start. Is there a way I can just format my wii and start from scratch following a tutorial ? If not any advice? The only working computer I have is a Mac

They always say to use modmii, I think you need the hacks hash.ini on your sd root in order to use priiloader hacks.
