I'm going to be getting about $100 in a few days, and I was trying to save up for a Dingoo A320 before, but I'm terrible at saving money. So, I figured I would just buy it now. I'm going to get a black one, since that's the only color ShopTemp has (Honestly, I like black more, but I heard fingerprints are VERY noticeable...Not that it's a huge problem, but still...), along with a 4GB Sandisk (Unless Kingston is a better brand) microSD with the miniSD converter.

I'm most likely going to put Dingux on it, since everyone says it's the best way to make use of the Dingoo itself. If anyone could post a link to the best tutorial on how to install it that they know of, I'd appreciate it (Don't say, "Google is your friend," because I have no experience in doing anything with Dingoos, so I wouldn't know which tutorial is the best). Also, I was wondering what kind of homebrew games there are (I already know most of the emulators available) that don't come on the system when you get it. Links to websites with homebrew and the rest of the emulators that run on Dingux would be nice, as well as any other site with Dingoo info.

Would be nice to hear a review, let us know wether its worth the purchase or not. Thinking of buying one myself...
Would a mini-review be fine (Just a small, non-biased summary of the Dingoo)? If not, there are other reviews on here if I'm correct.

Honestly PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE DOUGH. Get yourself a PSP-2000 and have all the same homebrew plus real PSP games, for almost the same price, or go for a PSP-1000 for 85-100 dollars.

If I wanted a PSP, I would've said I did. I've had a PSP before, and the only thing I liked about it was the homebrew and emulators. I hated most of the actual PSP games, and the system itself is kind of bulky, where as this is like a Game Boy Micro.

Ultra-mini review: I have one. I like it a whole lot.

I've barely touched my DS since I got the Dingoo.

There's all kinds of reviews around, there's at least one here on gbatemp. There's a couple reviews on youtube.

The question of whether anything is "worth it" or not is an entirely subjective one. If you like playing retro games, want to play them on a small inexpensive portable system, then the Dingoo is a pretty neat toy. If you don't mind playing around with some linux stuff, you can install the dual-boot functions and have Linux in there as well, which offers even more options, including ported and homebrew linux games.

I have a lot of fun messing around with linux, kernel hacking and finding ways to mod or improve things; once I put linux on mine I've been alternating between hacking and playing games on it. It's been a grand way to waste several hours every day!

For me, it was well worth it. Your mileage may vary.

the white one might be available too on ShopTemp but you're going to have to wait until the 4th to be 100% sure

Awwww. I'd always love to review one of the dingos. Wonder if ShopTemp would send a sample to me... I could use something else to review while I wait for one other sample... too bad HKPost is slow...

I'm most likely going to be getting my money then anyways (Or tomorrow), so I'll be sure to check if they do. Thanks for the heads up!
