Hardware Getting a white screen on some roms

When I'm trying to load play some ds games on gateway card on 3DS XL, I'm getting a white screen for some of the games. Is there anyway to fix this ?

1. What version of Gateway you're using
2. What roms you're using, along with the region code.
3. Anything else you think is helpful

Hi, sorry I'm new to this, how do I check the version of gateway ? It's the blue card used for DS rome.. I'm trying to load games like Dragon quest 9 US version, Bleach 1 , 2 .. they are US versions. My 3ds xl is on version 4.4.0-10U

step 16th, i think you can check your version using this step, i don't own a gateway i hope i did help somehow
