Hacking getting a DStwo soon

Im either getting one for my birthday or tomorow - monday/tuesday.
I already know where im getting it from. i know its a reliable source. (realhotstuff.com)
So, can anybody tell me what i need to know?
Like where do i put plugin folders too. I read the guide that came with this plugin pack, and it said to put them all in the _dstwoplug folder, and then go find a nds of the plugin, Wtf is that supposed to mean.
I dont get it.

As for 'this plugin pack' do you mean this one ??

If so - basically when you have installed the official firmware - you will find there's a folder called '_dstwoplug'.

What you need to do is install the 'bmp' and 'ini' files from the plugin pack into this folder AS WELL as find & download the actual Homebrew software (usually a 'nds' file) and place THIS also into the '_dstwoplug' folder,so you should end up with 3 files for each 'plugin' that will show on the scrolling menu you'll see when you boot up - a 'bmp', a 'ini' and a 'nds'

If you look at the plugin thread you will find that we've supplied links to the individual programs to make things easier. we've HAD to split them into 'Plugins' and 'Programs' as we were not allowed to combined them into a single 'pack' unless the nds file had actually been modified or compiled to be 'DSTwo only specific'

I'm about to order one of these from 0shippingzone because the one I ordered from shoptemp right before thanksgiving has been stuck in the shinzen transit office since 11/24 and I'm getting way too fucking pissed off waiting for it at this point that I'm going to just buy another one from elsewhere.

Well. I've just ordered another DSTwo, this time from 0shippingzone. Hopefully this one will actually SHOW UP. I'm writing off the one I bought from shoptemp at this point.

it's not quite right out of the box, you have to download the firmware and put it onto the sd card, you can download that here

but if you want a better menu that allows more plugins and a better interface, i'd recommend following this? guide, just skip the backup step (and report your success or if something went wrong, plz)

I think the reason why is that everyone is waiting for Spinal to bring out an update. All I can tell you I given that a try & I like it - but it can be a little 'awkward' scrolling side-to-side without accidentally selecting & that there's no real way to organize the icons (I like to group all my 'utilities' together on one page & homebrew games on another etc)

I dont get it.

The two biggest things to know are to use version 1.21 of the GBA plugin and BAG SFC v3 instead of the normal SNES plugin.

Why is that? (about 1.2.1 of gba plugin), id like to know why. does it have like better compatibillity?

because it's compatable with game_config.txt while the new one, v1.30, isn't, this v1.21 with game_config.txt has better compatability

you can find that here, just place it into the NDSGBA folder

Yoshi topsy turvey
Pokemon Emerald
mario vs donkey kong 2 ( or whatever it is)
bomberman max 2
super mario advance 4 ( the one with super mario bros 3 and the thing in the sewers)

I can't really say i've tried any of those except pokemon emerald, which works great

i just ordered my dstwo from realhotstuff. and what i saw was,
They only ship monday through friday?

I just ordered it now on friday, will it still be coming and come on sunday or saturday? please tell me if it will. i really want the dstwo and i dont want to wait til tuesday.
