Gaming Getting a 360

I am going to be picking one up today, just gonna get an Arcade and am currently the high bidder on a drive on eBay. I am gonna get it modded, just gotta get in touch with modmonkey to have it done. So what games should I get, and I will donkey punch anyone who suggests Halo cause those games are teh crap

Since I have a 360 guitar controller at my friends house, I will get that as well so I will be playing lots of Rock Band and Guitar Hero but I know there are other great games out there.

If you're going to get it modded anyway (assuming you mean drive flashing and not case modding), then isn't the question a bit moot? Simply get all the games that your bandwidth allows, make sure that they're all stealthed properly, then burn as many of them onto DVD+R DLs as money allows.

Then, when you know what games you like, go out and buy them to support the developers (that way you're not, strictly speaking, a pirate).

Also, I suggest the Lego games. Even if you're not a kid, those games are so much fun, especially if you have a friend to play 2 player

I don't know, I liked Halo's campaign, especially if you have people to play it with. Don't like the multiplayer.

if your gonna start burning games make sur you use good quality discs and a good dual layer burner like a pioneer 111d, i only use verbs d/l discs. i recommend gettng the 120GB HDD as you can install games on the HDD from the dashboard, you still need the disc in the dvd drive to boot the game but after that is all from the HDD. it just cuts down on wear and tear on the laser and makes the loading times quicker, but you probably already know this................................sudeki300

just to let you know how my setup is for the burner , as i only have a laptop and netbook i have a internal pioneer burner that is connected by a ide/usb to my laptop. never had a bad burn yet....................sudeki300

Yeah that list is pretty close to most of the games I will get, i don't really like fighting games that much aside from Street Fighter and Soul Caliber. Might try out Need for Speed Shift or Forza 2. Definitely going to get NHL 10 though and I want to play Portal and Bioshock.
