Gaming Geting xbox 360 slim, some questens

So am geting a xbox 360in a week but I hear they rdod relly easly and have a lot of problems my questen is what are there failer rate and should I buy the slim or anther xbox(pro,elite)

I would not get either. I am a 360 owner and I would say that it's not worth paying for what is essentially a faulty product (both original and slim.)
