Hacking Get SSBB(J) To work on almost all Modchips

ok i just wana get everything right before i do this

1. get the dvd5 or dvd9 download
2. update your wii firmware to 3.1e
3. put game disk in and update fully or pull plug at 15%
4. everything should work fine

is this everything i need to do do i need to region frii my disk?

p.s. im a pal user and im egtting the Yaosm chip installed 2moz does it work on this. and i dont care about double channels

For option A, do you need to have the DVD5 and DVD9? Does this work with Wiikey?? Does option A involve swapping?

Haha, I'm kidding, seriously everything is so perfectly laid out in the first post, do people just skips words and entire sentences? Option A itself involves no DVD5 version, and NO 15% trick. You have to live with dupe channels if you go with Option A, you play it just like any other import, but instead of brickblocking, you just update.

Would this work for Argon modchip? Has anyone tried it..? So far, no one has mentioned whether or not it works on Argon. I plan to mod my Wii soon so I'm deciding if I should go with D2CKey or Argon.

Edit: And, to get firmware 3.1u, the ONLY way is to update with Super Mario Galaxy? Are there any other ways? I just updated my Wii today, but I have no idea how to check what the firmware version is.

Nvm, I just found out.. I just look at the top right corner of Wii settings. LOL I got 3.1u.

i do not want dual channels so i guess. i will be doing option B.
but as for the 15% trick i am assuming their is no way around it?
what should i use the new DL brick blocker or the wii-update-remover? both? thanks i have never had to do anything to an iso to get it to work before. thank you.

I did it on Metroid 3. Only got those duplicate channels but it would NOT hurt your Wii. When you click those, you only get message "This channel cannot be used" or something similiar. I don't remember.

I did that B thing to Brawl and it worked also and No More Duplicate Channels.
