Hacking General softmod backup launching compatibility guide

Any ideas about the game 'boogie', it wont work either with any loader and my daughter is really waiting for it to work.

is "boogie" the full game title?, i have "boogie superstar" that works fine

No its really 'boogie' it came before boogie superstar which does work pretty well..

Hi wiipower, i bin working with the wii since about 4 months and have seen the beginning with wanikokos backup launcher until up to today , it is great what all the people have done. I've got it alla installed on my wii, including gamma 002 fix, the softchip r75 and all which is nessescary to run backup games. But up untill today i couldnt get wii 'boogie' to work it just shows the black screen after the remote screen and then crashes and wont load further without giving any error.. By the way i use verbatim disks dvd-r they say that those are the best...

What does SoftChip say about your IOS249?

i have the wad of softchip r75 installed and just have to click on it on the wii screen

i have had no sucess using gamma without rebooting, but that may be due to "timing", but 100% sucess rebooting, i'll try patched dicks again.....and report back

Patching is bad too if there's a way to run the game without patching.

ok i have tried 1:1, patched ios33, patched ios249, gamma, gamma rebooting, softchip and almost all combinations of .... and no load direct without "help" of hitting buttons on the remote



it was just down to timing,

i can now get 1:1 copy of summer sports 2 working every time with gamma just by hitting the "home" during loading before the remote screen

This is about ONE game. Which revision has your cIOS?

If that's true and you didn't any noob error and you got a good .iso, i guess the game needs IOS Version patching or it's a bad burn.

wiigee has already tried patching and a lot of different other ideas but it didnt work, geus this one remains a mystery!!!

I can t fight the boss at the end of the chapiter 1 of the last crusade.

Patched PAL indi, PAL 3.2E wii, softmodded

I wonder if the compatibility list is properly done .. i mean did anyone actually finish the games before stating them as " working " ?

No nobody does that. But nobody posts his cIOS or any other information which could help to help him too.

I guess we, softmoders, all have the same CIOS installed ( CIOS 249 rev7 )

Anyway here is what i have on my wii ( classic softmod package to me ...)

cIOS_247-v5_fix,-cIOS249-v7_waninkokoFULL-nw7, cIOS248-v7_reqArmrbfix-nw7, cIOS249-IOS36-rev07, IOS16-64-v257-prod, IOS38-64-v3609,

PAL 3.2E wii, starfall

Don't post wad filenames:
1. It's useless as you have 2 IOS249 listed
2. wads of IOS aren't allowed here, of course you can use them, but posting this doesn't help others reading this. There are legal installation methods for the cIOS36 rev7, why don't you use them?

Oh, and no not everybody is using the rev 7 cIOS, there are lots of i..... around thinking the upgrade from beta to gamma is the other loader.
