I've read that some couldn't get Wii games to work so they loaded them through GeckOS instead and it loaded the game properly. My question is, these comments I'm reading about, are they from before Gamma's release? Gamma is designed to play Wii games, so does it play Cube games, too, or should I still keep my GeckOS channel? And if GeckOS does play Wii games, is it the same thing as Gamma?

Thanks in advance.

GeckoOS came before gamma loader...
Geckoos does not load backups...
Gamma is based off of geckoos source...
GeckoOS was originally called Gecko Region Free...
Basically it's original function was just region free gaming...
Since then it has Ocarnia cheat code handler built in..
Can load files from sd and also interface with the usbgecko device o debug, dumgames and hack codes...

now as to your reading old posts about running games that did not work through wii's disc channel...
That was back when big n updated the ios's on the wii and patched the trucha bug...
GeckoOS let you still play your trucha signed discs as long as you had a modchip installed...
