Hacking GeckoOS 1.8: SD File Patcher

So i recently updated to the new GeckoOS, but i saw an option in the Options Menu that said:
SD File Patcher

What does it do?

It's basically an on-the-fly editor for game content. It's similar to ocarina (the cheat engine) as it patches the game to use custom sounds/textures/etc.
