hi guys!

i think my lens gone die or something like that

i've burn a lot of mini dvds from kodak and emtec (i do know are s** brands, but its my only option here unfortunately) some of them work good enough to play through no problem, like zelda and mario other doesnt run at all and selected ones give me DRE while playing.

the fun fact is.... in my 2009 gc capable white wii with amazekey (a drivekey clone), ALL THE F** DISKS RUNS NORMALLY, serious... all, the very same disk

so, i dont know if a POT problem, lens problem or user problem hahahaha

should i bought a brand new lens?

also, my gc is modded with XENOGC 1.0 (came with it), even though i have a XENOGC 2.0 unit somewhere around my workbench
i dont know if the version of xenogc will influence this

i pray for the wise gods of gbatemp for a answer!!!

thank you

Try to adjust the pot first by checking with a multimeter. I've heard the sweet spot is between 170-220 ohms. If that doesn't work, clean the lens with a microfiber cloth. If you still get an error, buy a new lens on eBay for like $7. Good luck!

I have a similar issue, but i doubt is the lens since i can run official games with no problem. Only some pirated games gives me errors.

I can still play pirated Twilight Princess BTW.
