Hacking GBC VC Generator

I have decrypted Zelda 2 Link's adventure, and there seems to be a patch that may be needed as a per rom basis. I'm still looking for a Game Gear one to test.

If I remember correctly the GameGear VC uses an extra layer of compression/encryption that may or may not have been figured out already.

i was told that each game needs a unique id to have diffrent banners/icons by a friend...however i have 2 games that i generated without having a unique id and they both have diffrent banners and icons

The unique ID is only relevant for CARD1 saves or CIA content. (maybe for the play log too)

actually i figured out that the 3ds stores icons in the system per game id and u can end up with something like this if you dont change the unique id Edit: however ive figured out how to change the id so im good

I would be careful about bragging about that kind of stuff. I recently read up on some guy who released pirated software and bragged about it on this exact forum, and Nintendo ended up finding him and suing him for 1.5M.

Has anyone tried disabling Green mode's horrible motion blur in the config.ini? Or edit the 5-bit RBG values that control the two palettes?
The only mention of it is editing the 267x240 which is pointless, since it's already maxed out.

i think your referring to the guy who leaked smash bros brawl iirc.......its kind of a different league, but i do agree its not the kind of thing you would do publicly if you are going to share some stuff

well GBA injection works.....but that software GBA emulator 3Dbrew where saying was "slow".....they weren't kidding....be warned its very slow

Oh I see. I just read a bit about the official emulators in 3dbrew, so this means every VC title includes a NES, GBC and GBA emulator?

yep, but its a software emulator, not the one they use for the gba VC games......slow and doesnt really work with bigger roms

i wanted to just see it anyway for lolz
