Long-live videos made by Nintendo fans for Nintendo fans.

Just for the record, I *still* think that they *should've* gone the Gamecube Controller way, as the video suggests, but instead placed the right analog stick above the function buttons, which is quite uncomfortable, at least on first glance, and will require getting used to.

The Pro controller and the 360 controller are similar, people look kinda silly when they say that they're not.

Sorry, that's as far into the video as I could possibly get - the pretentious voice of the narrator is a barrier I cannot pass through.

True story: Valwin was one of the try hard fanboys that kept trying to say the Pro controller didn't look like the Xbox 360 controller. - #ircexperiences

I really don't know why Ninty Boys TriedSoHard as well when they had a perfect controller already. I mean, the Gamecube controller is one of the most comfortable pieces of hardware I've ever had in my hands. With some extra buttons and the exact same analog stick layout, it'd be simply perfect. But no, let's invert one side so that the right thumb, which is supposed to be on the function buttons 99% of the time *isn't anywhere near them* unless you bend it in an uncomfortable fashion.

I won't judge until I get to play on the console, but I won't lie - I am not a fan of the layout.

itt: foxi4 missing the point. It's a parody of the silly reactions to certain Wii U news. the end is the best, though.

Yeah, the Pro controller is similar to the 360 controller but the 360 controller is similar to the Gamecube one so claiming that Nintendo are thieves (which some forums really did) is silly.

I don't think that concepts as basic as a shape of the controller should be a reason to start a "thievery debate". Consoles are made of thousands of hardware parts, lots of time goes into the design of the infrastructure, not to mention countless lines of code. Something as trivial as a layout shouldn't even be considered "patentable" or "owned by anyone" - certain things are just logical. Some layouts are comfortable, some are not - a company that tries to design a novel, but uncomfortable one for the sake of being different alone is shooting itself in the foot. This is why I hate the whole "oh my, Samsung phones look like iPhones!" issue as well - it's a smartphone, how is it supposed to bloody look like if it's 90% a screen?

And yes, I do get the point. I just don't agree with it. Responding to "stupid" with "more stupid" is stupid.
