But remember the X-Rom works on BOTH regular GBA's as well!! Not only GBA SP's!

I just made the review using my GBA SP.

And there is a 1Gbit X-Rom coming soon too, it's available for pre-order now!

Any ideas on the price for that?

Finland
I live in Helsinki, Finland and I just bought one a couple of weeks ago from the UK online store. The online store isn't that great - the order tracking thing didn't work and there's no account creation so you can go see the status of your order. I basically had to sit, wait and use the force. I paid the extra $8 for premium shipping, not knowing what it was, but it turned out to be that it was signature on delivery as opposed to "expedited" delivery. However, the package arrived in under 5 days, which was quicker than I was expecting anyway.

I've had nothing but positive experiences with the device. It was also the cheapest one I could find online which could be shipped from within the EU (to avoid paying toll). It works. I definitely recommend it.

I feel like i wait over 10 mins on my 256 cart, so 20 mins for 512 sounds about right.

And as its USB its less hassle for me.

Im interested in the 1gb version, but PSP feels like its right around the corner for me, shame

I think Game streaming should work like this.... Local Hardware able the run the game fine, game engine and common assets stored locally, all FMV and music and textures could be streaming

They went all in on streaming, should have been more of a hybrid approach

Or free government supplied high speed internet be nice also. Like Obama care. Xdqwerty that's cool, its time consuming but rewarding once done or playable, to see what you've made from scratch. Animations take forever, but worth it.

@BigOnYa, although the bullets are a bit buggy

    @BigOnYa,
and the visual aspect of the game is quite crude (the sprite that looks best is that of the protagonist just because he is a stickman with sunglasses)

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
There is a bullets behaviour you assign to your character, that makes the code easier, under "behaviours"
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
i meant that when the character is pointing to the right, the bullets spawn where they should, but when he is on the right, they move to the right but the spawn point is incorrect
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Itch.io has lots of free assets also. Under the bullets behavior tab, there is a "rotate bullets" option, can try that. Or in the code can try
    - fire bullet Player.X(PlayerDirection)

im taking a break for today anyway

That's cool tho, I'm proud of you going back to it, not giving up. It is difficult at first to learn, but fun once you get the hang of it. I think I've watched every tutorial video there is, but I still struggle sometimes to get stuff to work right. But gotta keep trying dif things, and eventually you will get it right.
