ok with this rule do you mean:
stock 3 AND a timi limit of 5 min  or do you mean
stock 3 OR 5 min timi-limit

just wondering either is fine with me, but to be able to use the first you need to unlock something and I assume not everybody has that unlocked.

He means 3 stocks with a time limit of 5 minutes. Not 3 stocks OR 5 minutes.

If neither person can set a timed stock match, default the match to a 3 stock match (fixed in front post)

I was thinking, also - since the smash balls/final smash are a huge part of the game - what if we turned off all items except those? I always think a great part of the competition is racing to break the smash ball before your opponent so you can blow them away.
