Thank you all for the support, I really appreciate it! Interesting to know but Nintendo has no input in the application process as the apps are processed through ESA, a separate division with E3.

Is there a way to broadcast in realtime? (twitch for example?)
Or only twitter while you are on the floor and wait the evening to upload your pictures and videos?

I'm not sure how that would work honestly. Also need to keep in mind that I will only have about a day and a half's worth of coverage. Show floor opens up Tuesday at noon. I check in Monday to the hotel and will probably pick up the badge that day, Tuesday will be all exploration, and Wednesday will probably be me checking out. Looking at what other attendees in previous years have done, the event is surprisingly closed off even for those who have a press pass - a lot of the stuff is restricted to invite only conferences (through the company presenting) and pre-set appointments. It's also my first year doing this, I need to really get a feel for this before I go into all of this big camera and streaming stuff that you guys are looking for. :/

It depends. I honestly don't know. The staff is widely diverse and spread over the world, and considering the event is located a long ways off from their location, it's difficult. Housing and transportation, meals, etc., are not provided as part of the badge - that's on us to pay for. I'm paying $250+ for a hotel that's a small ways away, in the downtown part of Los Angeles, not to mention the food, the gasoline to get there, the other stuff, etc. Some of this stuff I'm definitely paying out of pocket for, and as I only have basically a day to do things, it's gonna be tough, to say the least.

Recap? Definitely will happen. Either the night after I get back to the room, or the next day. More details to come. Right now, I need to start the planning stages so I can maybe get a few meetings in with a developer or two, and ideally get an invite from one of the companies and attend the Monday press conferences, and explore the floor Tuesday.

Got a question for you: I applied to go to E3 today was wondering what you did about this:

URLs to your articles with your name and title appearing in an editorial capacity.

Did you include your full name in the articles or just your username? I have my username in them currently, but I'm wondering if I should include my full name as editor in my articles (though I'd prefer that not everyone knows my full name)

So, what ended up happening was that I had to include my name somewhere on the page to prove that it was actually me. Like what I did was that I used my custom user tag (500 posts only, sorry!) and set that as my real name, god forbid I ever do that, but it looks a lot more legitimate. I might just have to do that.
I actually have my own website where I post stuff, and I haven't exactly told my fans my real name yet. Do you think my initials would work just as well? Or my first name with the last name a single letter?

It was honestly better to display the entire name for me. I dunno, personal opinion. A username alone won't suffice though - its easy to pick a name because anyone can just grab off of it, especially if it's online. As long as you can provide the proof that it's you writing it somewhere... considering they ask for things like photo ID and everything. And if you make it to the E3 floor let me know what happens, I'd be excited to meet up with a few online folks!

Great question! I actually had a nice fellow here make one for me - if he's reading this, he has my sincerest thanks as the card turned out great. If you have Photoshop skills then that's a plus, otherwise there are definitely still ways to do so and still maintain a professional air. You basically want to show the Electronic Software Association that your site and your image is worth bringing to the biggest show floor for video gamers. I couldn't in good faith bring someone in that made a card ten minutes ago on Microsoft Paint.

Oh ho you're good with photoshop? You might end up hearing from me for future projects and collaborations, then... You shouldn't have mentioned that.
