so you think there will be this many topics?
we will need ways to look through the market much easier?

Could that be a hint?
Step 2.5?

There's nothing to "get". I was just saying that I don't think there will be too many topics in this section, at least not enough to justify the topics title rules...

Very interesting idea! I'd imagine there would need to be a very sharp eye kept out for scammers...even among the "confirmed" members.

Its a shame the confirmed members names arn't written in bold

This is a great idea to stop scammers. A few have been on GBATemp lately with just 2 posts saying that they have stuff to sell.

well this is a good thing, i actually have stuff to sell... but i dislike selling on ebay :\ since there a lots of wacky persons there z.z

Dunno if i'm confirmed though *checks after post*

edit: OH yeah confirmed

Exactly.
We will be careful and ... well, you haven't seen the full details yet...

so you don't know how much posting a topic in there COSTS!

j/k .. it's FREE!

sorry we need money for the server. It's $5 / topic.
I was KIDDING! yay. It's free for real. The sole idea that it might not be free didn't cross our minds even for a µsecond!

Maybe you could integrate some kind of auction/marketplace software, it wouldn't be too hard, then we could all sell our stuff in peace without eBay shutting things down?

Yay!!
what a great surprise, my first login today, and changes

Wondering how the selling forum will work? id suggest that paypal be the ONLY method to pay (would cut down on disputes and scams)

EDIT: and as adgloride suggested, feedback, where a staff has to see a receipt of some sort to make it valid

The "members" have access to the trading forum.
The "newcomers" don't.

You're a "member":
- if you have posted at least 100 messages (exc. in the testing area)
- or if you have joined GBAtemp before November 2004 and have posted at least 50 messages.

Re: the "tips" forum, you might need to carefully name this to make sure people don't think it's tips as in the sort of thing you see in GameFAQs. Maybe call it "submit a news story" or similar.

The trading thing is very a nice idea! I always prefer buying stuff second hand, if the condition is still OK. Can't wait

Only regular members can use the shopping place? D: I am going to need to sell some DS stuff soon, but I've been mainly a reader, not a poster. I've posted a lot on ABXY/DSmeet, and a bit on gbatmw... but not here. D: And since I'm not prone to spamming... I don't know what I'll do.
I was happy to see that one is going up (Since eBay is being retarded and is taking flashcart auctions down) but I can't use it...
