Hacking GBA Saves on the 3in1

According to the guide EZV quickstart guide, to backup save files from, and to copy save files to the 3in1 you have to do the following:

Backing up GBA save games to the EZ5 MicroSD

* Load the EZ5 main menu
* Hold down R and press X. A dialog box will appear saying "EZ5 3in1 [Back] [Cancel]"
* Press A to confirm or press B to cancel
* A directory called 'GBASAVE' will be created on the MicroSD card and your GBA save game will be copied into it.

Writing GBA save games to the EZ5 Triple-pack

* Load the EZ5 main menu
* Highlight a GBA save game (usually stored in the 'GBASAVE' directory)
* Hold down R and press Y. A dialog box will appear saying "EZ5 3in1 [Load] [Cancel]"
* Press A to confirm or press B to cancel
* The save game will be copied to the EZ5 Triple-pack

But pressing R+X brings up a delete file dialog box, and pressing R+Y only makes it say "Copy..." in the bottom-right corner. I've searched everywhere for a solution, and tried different programs like GBAExploader, but nothing seems to work. Please help, as I don't wish to start all over from the beginning for all my GBA games....

My slot-1 cart is EZflash Vi.

I don't know anything about the EZV(i), but there's always the third-party solution. Rudolph's GBA ExpLoader for instance.

What exactly happens when you try GBA ExpLoader?

If the game is loaded to PSRAM, the save is automatically backed up to a file on reboot.

When I boot a game using GBAexploader it stops at the GB logo without the Nintendo logo, as if there is no game in there at all.
I can get a game onto the 3in1 and play it using the EZflash firmware, but I want to get my old GBA saves to work with them instead of starting over.

Write a ROM to NOR then try to boot it as a regular GBA game from the DS main menu.
When you want to get your save file onto your Micro SD card, go back to Exploader and press B to copy SRAM to a save file (Usually located at root:\GBA_SAVE)
