OT:
Commercializing also isn't the "spirit" of Homebrew. You are just getting another DRM on top of your existing DRM.
The manufacturers also always copy code from open source projects and make tons of money from it without giving anything back.
With Luma3DS we finally have a solid foundation and it would be foolish to say that Gateway still has a purpose. And remember that Gateway still has brick code - even if it might not brick for you, it's totally unacceptable.
bandwagon around that
There is a simple reason for this and you just have to look at the Switch scene: It's a total mess and it brought in a tons of lawsuits against minor things. The homebrew scene is in great danger because of the legal pressure from Nintendo. Not also this, it also split the whole scene.anti flashcard bandwagon

This is something that would be interesting, yes, if it could be even done. But you wouldn't need a flashcard for that. Look at the Vita scene: Solid homebrew scene, tons of great projects and the only hardware you might need is an SD adapter which is open-source. Flashcards are never good for anything and are just used as the last resort.physically add hardware extensions
ironic, because GW has no other purpose.neez moar RAHMS
