Wish I made it on time. But I gotta ask, could you be a little more specific as to what happened exactly?

Gateway's site itself says it's not recommended. I wonder why people keep trying it.

I guess we are used to the disclaimers of potential "bricks etc" that we take a chance anyway as usually its OK.
With me however I must of made a mistake I'm guessing but I hand nand backups both sys and emu and got it back ....phew

I followed gateway instructions.
Put SD contents in n3ds SD card and red contents in gateway card
It wouldn't let me downgrade to 2.x therefore it had the option to upgrade to 9.2 so I did. ( I think that was the mistake )
Then after it succesfully upgraded I entered time machine again to downgrade from.9.2,to 2.x and then it kept saying I need emunand. So I installed emunand via gateway, it created it and all was how it should be. I tried to downgrade again but it said it needs emunand. I re done it and also unlincked sys and emu but again nothing .
I will on another day follow the guide posted from thaulos for the ar9loader. I'm.just happy everything is back to how it was
