no they arent. Theres likely regional address differences, Which restoring a eu to a us can result in glitches and bugs. Some can be done as such. But dont expect it to be 100%

I imported a save from eu to us after i decrypted it and seems to be working fine. I dint manage to export a save from cartridge though. I exported the save file, but its not loading with the rom i exported from the cartridge. I used the gateway menu to export. Any ideas?

All saves need to have JKSM or Checkpoint used to decrypt the save. And then again to inject the save to the rom you are using.
