Hacking gateway downgrade question

so i looked(but chances are i missed it)

I have 3DS XL(not new) that started on 8.2. can i downgrade it to 4.5? i personally prefer the DS profile exploit.

As long as you are on firmware 9.2 or below you can downgrade to 4.2, but if you are on 9.3 to 9.5 no you cant.

goody. my 3ds has been on 9.2. i refused to upgrade it to buy the AA trilogy(though i bought it when i got emunand set) i just wanted to ask so i didnt brink my 3ds for something impossible. if i do brick it itll be cause i did something wrong
