I think that value is 32bit, anyway, do this: see if the jp real->practice offset is the same for usa, i imagine so
no. find the practice address and take away the offset of 3E0B10 to get the real play address

European Badge Arcade offsets are changed for old 3DS:
32C24E5C - training
3286AD4C - real
I'm guessing the offset gets changed whenever they add a new set of badges? They changed it to 3286BECC when the Zelda badges were added (I'm pretty sure it used to be 3286C74C before that), and now they've changed it again when they added the Pikmin badges.

no, at least for me, not when they add new badges. i had the same addresses for 4 or 5 days maybe, new badges were added in those days. but only today the addresses changed.

Anyone working on codes for Mario & Luigi Dream Team US Version? I can't seem to find any codes for this game. :(
haha you have been asking for a while...
i might download the game and have a look, there are really NO code for it? the game is good fun too?
what kind of codes do you want?

I think the game is good/fun. Found no codes on here, fort42, and max-cheats.com. Am looking/hoping for the following codes:

- Infinite HP/Health for both Mario and Luigi
- Infinite BP? for both Mario and Luigi
- Infinite/Max Coins/Money
- Infinite HP/Health for Big/Giant Battles (Would be great help as I suck at them)

Thoughts/help GREATLY appreciated :)

Side note: Am also looking for codes for Xenoblade Chronicles 3D US Version

thx @cearp

Like I said, I'm just guessing. Every time the rabbit has mentioned that they've got some new badges in and gave away free plays to celebrate, the offset has changed for me. It didn't change on the days where one or two catchers were swapped out, just the days where every catcher was swapped out, and today was one of those days.

Not at all. It's an 8 bit value. They don't expect anyone to have 255 of ANY type of play, lol! I've seen data close by the offset as well when I actually paid for plays, so it's probably important to NOT write a 32 bit value for this game. I always find the offset in about 3 tries using an 8bit search. (it shows 2 or 3 results by then but the USA N3DS offset is always in the 36xxxxxx region.

no i mean i think i once played around and set a number bigger than 255, and i saw the number decrease normally.
maybe i remember it wrong, but i wouldn't be surprised because many games have 32bit values when there is no need to.
i recently have been hacking a game and made loads of codes for it, and basically everything is 32bit! really weird... even flags, a whole 32bit number just for 0/1 lol

what you see if what you search, shouldn't be too hard to make those on your own

Just a heads up, I managed to brick my Fire Emblem Fates save by messing around with the Gateway Cheat Menu :') Whenever I load the game, I get a black screen. Fixed it by dumping my save and deleting Chapter1 (the save I was messing with) but yeah, you should backup your saves to an extra slot if you're messing with Fates. I was only a few chapters in so it's no big loss, but I'd imagine somebody around Chapter 20 might be a bit more annoyed!

Silly... I recently finished a programming logic and design course where I had to grade my own assignments as well as that of 2 other random students. I couldn't believe how stupid most of them were! (and I'm not saying I'm all that smart either)

And whoa... you're right about the fixed offset. 3BA110 on USA N3DS. Same for you? New spots are 36822D5C (free) and 36822D5C (practice).

you don't need experience. Quick tutorial for badge arcade (you must have a folder called "cheats" in your Gateway's mSD card):

1) Boot into Gateway mode
2) Press select to bring up the rom selector menu
3) Press UP on the D-pad to bring up the config menu
4) Set your In game menu button to start+select
5) Press B twice to back out of the menu
6) Load the badge arcade
7) Enter the practice catcher
8) You should have 5 free plays as soon as you enter. Before you do anything else, press start+select to bring up the cheat menu
9) Press A to select "Cheat Finder" and A again to select "New 8bit exact search"
10) Change the number to 005 and press A
11) Go get a drink or something while it searches
12) Press B a few times to back out of the cheat menu
13) use your first practice play (wait until it is done and the plays remaining shows 4).
14) repeat steps 8-11, but searching for 004 (obviously. If you didn't know, just leave here now and don't come back. Seriously.)
15) When you have 2 or 1 plays left, you should be able to select "view hits" and see only 1 or two addresses.
16) On an address, press x
17) Move to the second line and press A
18) Move right to the last 2 digits of the second number and change it to 10 or something (which would be 16 in hex) and press A
19) Press Start, pick a temporary name with 3 letters, and press A to save it.
20) Back out of the menu and play your last play.

If you picked the correct address, instead of your game finishing, your number of plays will jump to 15 (the 16 you set it for, minus 1 you just played). And it will stay that way until you enter the cheat menu, configure cheats, and disable the cheat. A faster way to end the game at this point would be to go back to view hits, and manually change it to a 1, then play one more time.

You should really get at least 20 practice badges to ensure the last one will be a bonus free play, but if you get 40, you'll get the 1 bonus, plus 4, or plus 5 if you get 50, etc... this will give you time to find the code for free plays while you grab the real badges.

Figure this out first. Understand it. Then read the text file that is in the GW package. Don't ask more questions about writing codes until you have read that text file! Then I'm sure someone here will help you if you still need help. First, learn how to find the memory addresses yourself please.

Does anyone see any issues so far. Or any mistakes in my math I'm only 1/3 done and I can barely see what I'm typing anymore. I just see blurs because I'm in math class and writing a code and constantly switching back and forth between hexadecimal and decimal equations. I'm also switching between paper and typing. Hope you buys will enjoy this code! I'm trying to make it as clean as possible to prevent having 99 of an item you cant drop and having items in the wrong pockets. :wtf:
