Let me know if you can get the HP code working, if you can I'll teach you the stat modifier one, it's just as easy. To be honest, I wouldn't know how to load your save file and don't have interest in learning :P
Every Time I try searching for codes I get "Too many hits left! Keep hunting!" I did this for Hp/MP & exp but keep getting same message. I went into '16bi't to search for cheats than 'less than' .

You're only looking for hp, did your hp go down before you searched less than? Try going into a free battle where only you are dispatched to test. It really only takes about 2 mins or less to find. (You can't heal, your hp has to only go down)

And you need to follow my steps obviously, your response sounds like you're doing other stuff to be honest. Needs to be exact 16bit search (not signed or unsigned) where you manually enter your current hp as you enter battle. After hp drops twice and 2 searches, you'll be able to see the view list. I did this the second half of the game without issues.

[Hp?]
084A52F0 FFFFFFFF

You only change the last 2 memory addresses, should be 0000FFFF. What was your hp on the last less than search?

I searched 210 first than selected 'less than' after each decrease.

I'm asking what number was your hp at on the last decrease. When it let you finally view the list. That number will match the memory address you need to modify in hex.

For example, if you had 150 hp left when you got to view the list, 150 is 96 in hex. So you would modify the address ending in 96. It would look something like 084XXX96, get it?

Once again, you are only looking for the HP address, not sure why you keep mentioning MP when it's not even part of the search. Off to bed, Goodluck and reread my original instructions if you're still having trouble.

My hp was 80 when I was able to view the list.

0844A8C0

And sorry about that.
Also when I viewed it I got these 2
0844A8C0
084A52F0

80 in hex is 50 which isn't on your list, the first address ending in C0 is 192 in decimal which doesn't match. Try again bud, you're getting close atleast. Make sure you clear the search before giving it another round.

When you get the right address, change it to 0000FFFF. You're aware you can change it live right? Click on the match and edit it realtime, you'll see your HP bar grow when it works.

Yeah will get to used to it soon. Feel free to share those beginning cheats if you can. Just incase I cant get any.

a code i have been working on :)
type the item id and press R!

148 lines of code... hefty but i don't think i could have done it another way, unless gw lets us use ASM :) (i think it needs to be in 3 parts, when i made it in 1 it didn't work, maybe just a small mistake i made though)

please let me know how it works for you!
item ids can be found here - https://github.com/kwsch/NLSE/blob/master/Resources/text/item_en.txt
so credits to them for dumping them!
not every item can be held in the inventory (unlike wild world lol) so we can't hold rocks, trees etc... so they won't work if you try.

code for USA game, villager 1. (villager 2 is easy but it's a slightly different code)
use CAPITAL letters when you type the id. i can 'fix' that to only work with lower case.

Code:

Really amazing. You can explain step by step how you do it? Because GW have many search function but until now we see only ordinary codes, and this one is not ordinary lol

@Lord M @Binebina87 - i posted a eur version on fort42! let me know how it works for you. it worked fine for me :)

thank you so much for your effort!
Sadly my game freezes when I press R.

EDIT: Maybe its because I'm using the legit EU cia. Could you please explain how you find the address? Then I can search it for myself :-)

thanks :) i updated the post! (i shared my code)

@Errorjack - yes i tested my MM and yeah... i go walking towards woodfall from termina and when the map changes the code stops working, i go back to termina and it still doesn't work. i moved around many places and found many different addresses, so yeah... definitely dynamic. i will test my codes more in the future :)
now... how do we find the pointer? :D

Wish we knew how to find pointers, not sure where to start.
