Hacking gateway 3ds XL

hello guys
i run my gateway on my 3ds XL and when i done playing i pressed HOME button to close the game
and the game freezed n my save lost is that normal or gonna happen often?
another issue i couldnt access to the setting while im on GW mode in the main screen, a black
screen comes up when i hit settings...!!

Make sure you are on the latest version of GW, the big freeze happens less in the new version.

Sounds like you're on 7.2 where the settings are encrypted using a different key. This could also be a problem with the above as 7.2 isn't truly supported.

i updated my GW to the latest firmwire but havnt checked if its 7.2 since i cant access to the settings
but anyways is that a big issue??

I don't know where you got that link from, but the website is .sc, not .cn. Just change that and you're good.
