Hardware Gateway 3ds micro SD cards?

So I've searched this forum and the web looking for deals on micro sd cards. Does anyone have any insight about where to buy them or a brand or classs that works better then another. I will be getting my gateway soon and just want to be prepared.

Buy a class-4 or class-6 from an IRL, physical store near yourself (or a well-trusted store online line Newegg). Go for name brands like Transcend, A-Data, PNY, etc. Avoid brands that aren't actually manufacturers (like Kingston) where quality varies, to be safe.

So who actually makes their own and who just slaps their brand on them? Is there a list somewhere?
