Hacking Gateway 3DS Availability

Ye, I've gave them an email basically asking why it takes more than 4 days for a first class parcel to arrive. Also, I noticed in a email they sent me they spelt there own website name wrong. (http://www.buygteway3ds.com) Sorry to be the bearer of bad news guys but id be prepared to do a chargeback on your card. If nothing shows tomorrow ill be sending gateway an email aswell to make sure there took of the reseller list.

Yeah I think we can now almost be certain that it is a scam site so I advise you guys not to buy from www.buygateway3ds.com.
I don't even get how such a site shows up on the resellers list of GateWay 3DS site...
I still hope it arrives tomorrow though, I was really looking forward to this. ;/

I remember someone in USA saying they ordered from cymods and received it in two weeks. I suggest you contact them and ask about delivery to USA.

That was me. I ordered on a thursday and the next day the status said "canceled". I shot them an email asking why and when I would get the refund and a few hours later I got an email saying a new order was created and the status was shipped. About a week and a half later, I got my Gateway (or rather a note from USPS saying my signature was required. Signed the slip and stuck it back in my mailbox and got it the next day) in the mail. I highly recommend them but then again, that is the only thing I have bough from them. But hey, first impressions are important!

Thanks for the info, guys. I still don't know about cymods, though. It seems like a lot would be left to chance since Mitch2025's experience wasn't exactly standard procedure. Looks like ModChipsDirect will have stock soon, so I might just go through them since they're in the US.

In any case, I think it's getting obvious: Temp's Resellers list is losing credibility and can not be 100% trusted based on the testimonials I've seen from people who have done business with some of the resellers in that list. Regardless of its credibility though, I think it's always been important for each user to do their own research on resellers and make their own decision on who to go through.

What kind of shipping did you get, if you don't mind me asking?

I ordered from cymods and it's shipped, I got the mid-tier "Registered Mail" for 8 bucks.

I am thinking it may be because I used paypal. Maybe their system doesn't handle paypal to well and they had to just make a new order and mark it as paid. Idk though. I was worried at first but it arrived quickly and was reasonably priced.

This makes sense. But I'd be using a debit card, not PayPal, so I don't think I'ma risk it. Thanks for sharing!

I heard back from teensy today saying that they received stock today and orders should ship in 1-2 days. Let's see.

I don't know if post offices in England are open on Sunday but I sure hope they are.

There are no collections on Sunday for sure and RM says that if you send a package on Saturday for a next-day delivery, it would arrive on Monday.

Seriously, why don't you guys do some research before ordering? There tons of guys here mentioning their experience with different outlets...Anyway based on what I have seen, the combination of Gateway being out of stock and Hong Kong post being very f***ed up, you might be looking towards a long wait...

Hmm, ordered from them on monday and paid with my Visa card, still no word from them. I checked my card and it has not been charged yet. I sent them an email asking them for a reply. I'm thinking of ordering someplace else and forget about the whole buygateway3ds.com business.

Yeah I want to believe that they're not scammers cuz really I don't wanna wait for the chargeback and then order from another site and wait again...

Just as the above person said, you cant go wrong with cymods!

Cymods is so high on fees, though. Tax, shipping/handling is almost $20 for the cheapest shipping (15-30 days).

Well...yeah. But I would say I would prefer paying some extra and do away with all the headache and stupid delays and lies. I payed 15 euros for express shipment from them and got it hassle free under a week, I regret nothing!

I just wish they had other flashcarts as well...they only have a DsOne mini at the moment

NP, since you are located in Europe I think they are your best option at the moment. You can always email them and ask anything you need, they are really fast in replying.

According to buygateway3ds.com there shipping takes 2-4 days even though it's royal mail first class. It's been 4 days still nothing, sorry to say this guys but it's pretty definite that this is a scam site. Gateway have been emailed and hopefully they will be removed from the reseller list so they can't take anymore money.

That's good that it worked out for you. I'm probably going with a US retailer when I decide to drop some money down on a Gateway when I get my financial aid refund from school. Probably will be going with ModChipsDirect.

Finally my order from nds-card arrived at my country. Nearly 2 weeks in international transit. I think it will take another 2 including customs and domestic transit.
The wait is killing me!
BTW, I found out another guy who actually bought from Aliexpress on 30th, and had his item shipped on the 2nd with no issues. I payed and the site reportedly sent on 28th, however the tracking only showed up on the 11th. HK post issue my a**.
