3DS Game save data is still stored on the game card itself. Only certain other saves like replay data (for Ridge Racer 3D) or journal data (for Nintendogs+Cats) are stored on the SD card. None of the game saves or extra data are stored on the system itself. Eshop Downloaded Games, however, save Data to the system you purchase the game on.
I meant the whole "save game and return to Home" thing. That's at least how I'm doing it...

I've replied to their email, I hope they wont misunderstand it and refund me (Question 3 especially, why do we need to answer it if we want our gateway shipped?)... :ohnoes:

I just answered 1 & 2. I think 3 is not a question, it's just them telling you how long a refund would take if you want one and the different times for refund depending on credit card or paypal.

I think maybe it's just there/looks like that as they are not native English speakers.

That's for sure.

Anyway I don't really like that method of blocking the shipment until you answer a mail, that's great if you accidentally updated your 3DS but what if I don't check my mails? People who don't check their emails daily will be pissed, especially if they were the first to order and ends up getting it last.

I don't think us$79.99 is a cheap price, but i just saw that there is large quantities of gateway 3ds in stock on this provider.

You dont have to return to the home to save games. Just save and turn it off.

this quote is taken from devin's gateway review:
In order to permanently save the game you must let the game save, press the Home button on the 3DS, and then press X to exit the game and A to confirm. This allows the GW3DS to transfer the save from the GW3DS to the 3DS' SD card.

Not to go off topic but:

1- Will trimming a rom make any difference ( will it harm the gameplay in any way?).

2- Does it really matter what type of micro sd card you use because I have a range of 512mb for games like super mario 3d land and all. If someone knows a good place to buy a few that would be great. I also dont know much about sd cards in terms of quality and read speed if that makes any type of difference.

Just a question for NDS-card customers: did anybody who ordered not get a firmware confirmation email?

What I'm referring to is this:

yay. They seem to be confirming you are on 4.5 before they ship. Just got an email asking me to confirm version :).

Just a little worried I didn't get one.

yah I got asked to confirm my FW version, too ... and they also asked if I was okay with the fact, that they don't give your money back, when the package gets lost or damaged... I sure hope, nothing like that happens X.x

1 - If a fat woman trims weight down does it make a difference? Yea, it makes her more appealing (The rom takes up less memory which is better) but her attitude mostly remains the same (the gameplay is the same).

2 - It's best to use micro sd's that are bigger then the game you want to put on them due to sd's not being exactly what they say. 4 and up is the ideal space you want for a card. As for the brand, same rule applies from flashcards on the ds, as long as its not a piece of shit it should do fine.
