the upcoming n3ds support should work with the mii maker, so i think we can use it with the classic 3ds too and won´t need the internet connection.. i read that somewhere from someone, i hope he/she is right
the top said it can't connect and the bottom screen is a black screen saying opening gateway..

I can't open up the internet browser - when I try it says "The internet browser will be available once you update your system via the internet." Of course if I do that I'm screwed, right?
Also, there's no QR code button in camera mode - yes I'm using the basic camera mode, not the one with the parakeet.

I cannot try this until Monday, I'm super hyped and impatient. Thought I'd ask a few questions:
1) Is it advisable to run non cia games using emunand or does it not matter?
2) Where do you put the launcher.dat file, on the root of the sd card?
3) Once I've installed emunand and all my cia files etc can I pop all of the backed up files back on to the sd card so these are accessible by sysnand still?
4) Also I assume that you can leave your 3DS on but close the lid when you're not playing it to avoid having to re-do the exploit?

Is it possible to install CIAs without GW?
i think there's an cfw for <4.5 didn't bother with it though since it's safer to play on emunand.

Its all dependant on your SysNAND version, should be fine on anything 6.x and above
Hmm, I'm pretty close to ordering a N3DS from an amazon seller. Even without support yet I'm assuming it will work fine since it was shown in video to be working on the N3DS. Hopefully its nothing major holding the release back.

There are people who have, so i'd say it's beta, bugs happen, shit happens, can't wait for people crying over bricked consoles on beta fw, though it seems it's not happening ;/
When you start the Gateway after go.gateway press L button and the menu comes back again. There you can also install emunand.
