I can confirm it's possible to mirror the hack page, so no fear here.
They look at the user-agent and the payload might be different for different for different browser version though.

It should be fairly doable to write a smartphone app that opens a local AP and hosts this, making it easy to get to GW mode without Internet connection.

I don't mind waiting a few more days for the n3ds release if the ozmodchips chat is true. But they could have atleast said "new 3ds support coming within a few days to lower server load during update process" or something like that, which would give them a few days to fix it

You can image how excited i am when I saw the news firstly from r4depot site, then i quickly downloaded the package, got out my virgin imported AUS New 3DS, then read "New 3DS still a work in progress."

Oh well. Back to PC gaming for now...

Interesting to see how far you can go _without_ a GW card actually. You don't need one for NAND or 3DS game backup, and it seems even restore NAND and downgrade may work without

So, tech support time! I'm not sure if I'm doing anything wrong, but I have the Launcher.dat on my SD card (NOT the MicroSD), am on 9.2 Sysnand, and whenever I go to the launcher site, it loads the thing saying Gateway 3DS Loading, then "failed to load part of the page" and crashes. I've tried clearing both my cookies and my history on my 3DS multiple times and it hasn't helped.

Because the webkit 'Browser Exploit' one is already patched by big 'N' in their 9.3 release.

The Mii Maker one is (another story) best to use it for other things, and for more protected New 3DS models.

aha ha so you are saying that maybe GW has more tricks for N3ds? maybe they think 9.2+ is possible on n3ds ?

I actually figured out a way that worked for me. I had to disconnect the Wi-Fi, "load" the page after clearing my cookies, then refresh it with WiFi on. Thanks for that though!

My problem now is that my 3DS can't see my eshop stuff that I backed up from before the change.

Thanks, thats really good news. Maybe its better to wait for this, and not go into internet right now and

It works, but at the moment you need internet connection to visit a website on your 3DS every time you want to launch the exploit. It also doesn't work on the New 3DS (yet).

I'm going to assume (from what we already know) that once it's out of beta it will use the Mii QR exploit we've seen in a post by SonyUSA. Then, we shouldn't need internet connection every time we want to use the exploit. Hopefully.

The reason for that is that Smash Bros. eats up all available RAM on your 3DS, even the internal running OS is overwritten. -- As such it has to crash back to plain system, nothing can be done about that, even on an original untouched 3DS using the original Smash Bros. cartridge, you will notice it does a quick reboot of your 3DS when exiting the game.

That happens on MH4 too apparently.

I'm having a lot of trouble just getting the gateway menu to boot. I would suggest waiting for a better update
